Cops: Paris Under House Arrest

Paris Hilton has been fitted for ankle bracelet and reassigned to house arrest, after authorities decided to release Hilton from prison due to medical reasons, this according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. spokesperson, Steve Whitmore.

Whitmore says he cannot release details about Paris' medical issue due to confidentiality.

Paris will be under house confinement in her West Hollywood home for 40 days. After the 40 days are up, Whitmore says she will have "fulfilled her debt to society."

I think she got alot more than the normal but the judge handed it down and she should have had to do the time regardless of what else is said.

I really hope they lock her back up. I would be my paycheck that if I were to get in trouble for the same thing she did over there that my ass would be sitting right next to some butch bubba in a jail cell. No special treatment & no getting out early for some crap medical condition.

What ticks me off about this situation is that I was watching Headline News earlier today and at the top of the hour, they gave a look at some of the stories they were going to cover. One caught my eye about the shuttle Atlantis taking off yesterday evening. Apparently, there was a torn thermal blanket on one of the OMS pods and I was wanting to see the story. So what do they start off the hour with? That stinking skank, Paris Hilton! What the hell kind of country do we live in where even on national news, that story rates more than the safety of our astronauts in space? What a world in which we live.

That's a load of hooey.
Medical condition is probably withdrawal from alcohol and paparazzi.

How many of those other inmates in that overcrowded prison are offered such a luxury?

And they expect us to believe that.

Well one other comment made on TMZ

She was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23. She served a total of five days -- the normal stay for a violation of this kind. Her five days began Sunday night and concluded early Thursday morning.

So lets not go off the deep end with the Paris-hate. When she got 45 or 23 and the normal is 5, sounds like she was given more because of who she was in the first place.
